Dai Mansion was built in the early 1920s, it was once the private residence of Dai Yunshan, a rich business guru in Guiyang. It is one of the most luxurious buildings in Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province. For over one hundred years, Dai Mansion has served as a place for underground party organizations of the Communist Party, US Flying Tigers’ Guiyang Club.  MAG respects cultural context, contacts spatial relations according to the specific conditions aiming to stimulate the space potentials of the site and rejuvenate the life vitality of Dai Mansion.
